What to know

Removal strips common EXIF, XMP, IPTC, comments, and PNG text/time chunks without re-encoding image pixels. It keeps ICC color profiles and some technical data to preserve appearance. Unknown or hidden information may remain; this is not a guaranteed privacy scrub. Some apps may show a changed orientation after EXIF removal.

Frequently asked questions

Will my photo look exactly the same?

Encoded pixel data stays unchanged, but an EXIF orientation flag may be removed. Check the output before using it.

Does this erase every trace of private data?

No. It removes recognized common fields only. Other chunks, color profiles, or hidden data may remain.

Is the original image changed?

No. A separate file or TXT report is downloaded.
