This tool runs in your browser. Selected files are not sent to our server.

How to use it

  1. Choose one JPG, PNG, or WebP image.
  2. Enter the maximum size, such as 100 KB.
  3. Review the output dimensions and file size, then download the JPG.

What to know

The output is always JPG, so transparent areas become white. A low KB limit can reduce image quality or pixel dimensions. If the tool cannot meet the limit, it will tell you; try a larger target.

Frequently asked questions

Can I compress an image to 100 KB or less?

Enter 100 in the maximum KB field. The tool tries to make a JPG no larger than 100 KB, but some images cannot be reduced that far.

What happens if I choose a PNG or WebP?

The download is a JPG. Transparent areas in the source become white.

Is my image uploaded?

No. Compression runs in your browser; the selected image is not sent to FileBangla servers.
