  2. Enter 72–600 DPI and choose JPG or PNG output.
  3. Download the copy and confirm its DPI in your print application.

What to know

DPI is metadata about physical print size; this tool does not add pixels or improve sharpness. The image is re-encoded, so EXIF, colour profiles, or some quality may be lost. JPG output puts transparency on white. Maximum 20 MB, 8 megapixels, and 8192 pixels per side.

Frequently asked questions

Will 300 DPI make a blurry image sharper?

No. Pixel dimensions do not change, so no extra detail is created.

Why does another app show a different print size?

Some apps ignore DPI metadata or apply their own layout settings. Check the final print setup.
